Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
For individuals who struggle to verbally speak, picture-based vocabulary systems can make all the difference! We use personalized AAC devices to help our clients express their needs and ideas while empowering families to integrate and use the device in home life.
Social & Functional Communication Skills
Social skills are important for building relationships, participating in school, and succeeding at work. We help our clients work toward the goals that matter most to them through activities like role playing, social scripts, behavior mapping, self talk, and social narratives.
Meet Your Speech Therapist
Laura Dostilio, M.A., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Laura is a speech therapist with over 17 years of experience working with children and young adults in public schools and private practice. She is passionate about helping her clients communicate with confidence and achieve their goals - whether that means making new friends, mastering speech sounds, or getting their first job.

Laura earned her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh and holds her national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut and strives to make speech therapy accessible through online and home-based sessions.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys going to the beach, doing yoga, and reading!

Step 1
Reach out for a free consultation via text, email, or phone. We will share information about our services and provide recommendations for the next best step.
Step 2
If your child has not had a recent speech and language assessment, we will schedule an evaluation session and develop a treatment plan.
Step 3
Schedule weekly speech therapy sessions! We will work toward your child's communication goals during activities that interest and motivate them.
